A source close to Mariah Carey has confirmed that the singer is in fact engaged with her boyfriend Nick Cannon! The huge rock on Mariah's finger was a big of a giveaway but now we know it's true! It will be Cannon's first wedding though he was engaged to model Selita Banks last year. Mariah Carey was previously married to Tommy Mottola for five years, 1993-1998. Source: Access Hollywood.

Wearing a humongous ring on her left hand singer Mariah Carey didn't leave her boyfriend Nick Cannon's side for many minutes at the afterparty of her new movie Tennessee this weekend. This obviously sparked rumors of an engagement and when asked about it Cannon's rep replied no comments; Carey's rep could not be reached. Carmen Electra's rep announced yesterday that the actress-model is now engaged to her boyfriend Rob Patterson. Rob reportedly flew up to Las Vegas last weekend to celebrate Carmen's 36th birthday and while there popped the question and gave Carmen a black diamond engagement ring! Was an unplanned pregnancy the reason Beyonce and Jay-Z got married in such a rush last weekend? Rumors that Beyonce is expecting her first child have started circulating and is believed to be the reason that the wedding happened so fast. It wouldn't be the first time for the Knowles family, Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles had a shot-gun wedding in the Bahamas after she became pregnant with boyfriend Daniel Smith. Neither of Beyonce's and Jay-Z's reps have confirmed the rumors and the couple are as usual keeping mum.
