Viggo Mortensen made his film debut in Witness (1985), but he really became a household name in his role as Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings movies. Viggo Mortensen is a keen painter and photographer and has often said he would like to quit acting to pursue his other talents. He has a son called Henry.

Its the 66th annual film Festival in one of Europe's most romantic cities this week. You know what that means! Hollywood stars almost everywhere you look! Yesterday we spotted Eva Mendes and Nicolas Cage arriving by boat to promote their new movie Bad Lieutenant as well as Viggo Mortensen and his young co-star Kodi Smit-McPhee who were there for the premiere of their movie The Road. Eastern Promises star Viggo Mortensen is tired! He has been in a string of successful movies in the past few years and has been travelling all over the world working hard to promote them. His answer to his exhaustion? No not a long a holiday, Viggo wants to quit making movies for good!
