We applaud Jessica Biel for taking a fashion risk, but this blue, velvet Gucci suit is too much. The monotone blue and the heavy velvet distracts us from the real star: Jessica. If anyone should wear a cut out dress it's Halle Berry, but this Halston dress reminds us of something from a pre-historic era. Gossip Girl's, Jessica Szhor, committed a huge fashion crime! While playsuits were huge this summer, this paisley printed Alice + Olivia one was too distracting and did nothing to flatter Jessica's figure. Another victim of the romper trend is Kourtney Kardashian, who wore her's with a tight bun. The balance of volume is so off in this look. Just when she starts to get her groove back, Katie Holmes made one of the biggest fashion mistakes in 2011. We really dislike her pairing of the Proenza Schouler snub-nose ankle booties with the Azzedine Alaia halter dress. We're pretty sure that Annalynne McCord did not enlist the help of a stylist for this look, which goes to show that even the most gorgeous celebs can lack fashion sense! Evan Rachel Wood in a Gucci leather dress. Too much red, too much leather. Elizabeth Olsen may have the most stylish sisters in Hollywood (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) but doesn't mean she's exempt from fashion failure. Elizabeth in a Chanel Spring 2012 Couture dress and champagne Christian Louboutin heels. Jersey Shore's, Snooki, is constantly making huge fashion mistakes. Once she ditches the over-use of animal print and fake tan, we're sure she'll be one fierce fashionista.
In 2011 we saw a lot of our favorite celebrities make many fashion mistakes. Some were rookie mistakes and others are just a case of bad styling (personal or professional, it can be hard to tell). This year's greatest misses came from Evan Rachel Wood in her maroon Gucci leather dress, Katie Holmes pairing a Azzedine Alaia halter dress with Proenza Schouler booties, and Jessica Biel in her blue, velvet Gucci suit. After witnessing these celebrity's fashion flaws, the most important fashion advice we can give is: wear what looks best on you, even if it's not trendy, you'll still feel incredibly confident and stylish.
