The Vampire Diaries is an American TV-show based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The Vampire Diaries follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls in love with vampire brothers Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). The series takes place in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.

Naomi Clark from 90210 taught us that money can’t buy you love, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying to buy it. It’s all about the effort after all. 4. Tessa Altman from Suburgatory taught us that shopping sprees aren’t fun for everyone. Sometimes low self-esteem and an excessive amount of pink can really dampen a girl’s spirits. 5. Serena van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl taught us that blondes really do have more fun. Yeah, that’s it, simple, I know. Serena always has the perfect ‘do no matter what time of day, temperature or turmoil! 6. Aria Montgomery from Pretty Little Liars taught us that dating a teacher is totally legit, as long as you first met him at a bar while underage drinking and not in a classroom. Duh! 7.
