The Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A was founded by the italian designer Valentino Garavani when he opened a sumptuous fashion house on Via Condotti in Rome with his father by his side. It was when the entrepreneurial skill of long-time boyfriend Giancarlo Giammetti came to Valentino's rescue that the company started to blossom after being in a financial crisis. The international debut and breakthrough took place in 1962 in Florence where their first show at the Pitti Palace was considered as a true revelation as the young couturier Valentino was submerged by foreign jet set customers. The company has rosen successfully ever since.

Stella Mccartney runway, a brand that in many ways stands for simplicity. Alexie Gilmore dressed as a dream! This safirecoloured dress is simply gorgeous. Lily Donaldson doing her thing in Hervé Leger. Kate Bosworth tastefully dressed. Not totally unexpected. Gwyneth Paltrow in Valentino. Smashing! Minimalistic, to say the least. Diane Kruger knows how to dress successfully. Calvin Klein runway. Kirsten Dunst in white with fresh looking makeup and hardly any jewellery, angelic! What a bombshell! This oneshouldered creation fits Alexa Davalos perfectly. Anne Hathaway in white. This coat is deffinately a sure thing to wear with a simple dress.
This summer is a lot about simplicity and to keep things natural. Summertime is the season of the year that allows us to wear simple dresses and only slightly of makeup. A number of our best dressed celebrities have really accepted the greatness of minimalism. To wear a one coloured, simple dress combined with a neat clutch and discrete jewellery is deffinately a sure thing this summer. Keep it cool and delightful!

Simple and stunning! Michelle Keegan makes a cute dress seem more hardcore with this black jacket and accesories. Lanvin runway! She looks like a godess. A nude dress terrifically combined with a pair of Chanel shoes. This one shouldered Bottega Veneta dress makes Shu Qi look like a dream. I love the simplicity. Christy Turlington, stunning in Bottega Veneta. Also she in red lips. Carla Gugino in Dolce and Gabbana. What a beauty! What a perfect match thay make! Nadja Auermann in Lanvin and Eva Herzigova in Dolce & Gabbana - wow!
This has been said before but it must be said again! Nude is definately the color of the season. It feels more than right to fill your closet with skin toned fabrics after this never ending cold winter. Nude dresses combined with big dazzling jewellery and red lips is a sure thing! Its something we´ve seen countless time on the red carpet and it never gets tired. The colour goes perfectly with every skin tone. So being pale is not an excuse not to wear nude!
