U2 was formed by then teenagers Bono (vocals and guitar), The Edge (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar) and Larry Mullen, Jr (drums and percussion). The band became a top international act by the mid 80's and were noted for there anthemic sound, unusual vocals and The Edge's textural guitar playing. Their live performances became a greater success than the actual selling records, what apparently increased the band's stature "from heroes to superstars", according to Rolling Stone. They have today sold more than 140 million (!) albums worldwide and were introduced into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during their first year of eligibility. The group has also campaigned for numerous causes such as DATA, ONE Campaign and Amnesty International.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are loving every second of France!

Pregnant Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have brought along their whole family to Bono's house in Eze-sur-Mer, South of France, and seem to be enjoying every second of their vacation! Brad and little Pax Thien spent hours on the beach looking at fishes and trying to catch a few crabs while Angelina strolled along the beach in a long dress. Brad seems to really love being a father and when Pax got tired of walking Brad carried him around as he walked next to U2 band member The Edge who was also there. From what we can see Bono's house looks amazing and the Jolie-Pitts are probably very happy to be there!
