The Hills star Heidi Montag has always dreamed of being a pop star and even after she couldn't get a record deal, Heidi and her hubby Spencer Pratt decided to produce the album themselves to make her dream come true! The album is out and its called "Superficial", obviously! We had a listen to some of the songs and we know what we think about it, but are dying to know what you think too! Looks like DJ Samantha Ronson hasn't decided to quit smoking for the new year! We spotted her outside the Crown Bar in West Hollywood last night before a gig and she was clutching her usual packet of Marlboros. Maybe Samantha doesn't believe in New Year's resolutions, but we are glad she seems to have kicked the Lindsay Lohan habit! We were getting really tired of that mad love story!

Simon Cowell Says Goodbye Idol!

So happy this is isn't the last of that famous bitchy face!

American Idol judge Simon Cowell really knows how to create a buzz! At a press conference for the show yesterday, the British meanie had this shocker: he will be leaving the judges table after the latest season! Simon has been threatening to leave the show for years, but no one believed he actually would, because we all know how much Simon loves the spotlight! Simon announced a second surprise too, he is bringing his other hit British reality show, "X Factor" to the US next year! So we haven't seen the end of Simon yet, and rumour is Simon's old Idol judge buddy Paula Abdul will be involved in X Factor too in some way, because Simon says he misses her, aw sweet! We didn't think so! Hiding behind those masks are Ashleep Simpson and her husband Pete Wentz! The couple was seen walking down Broadway in New York yesterday and after a while they got so fed up with the paparazzi that they headed into a costume store and bought two creepy masks to wear! A shame that the paparazzi kept following them even when they had their masks on!
