Toni Braxton is an American singer and actress who was very successful in the 1990s. She has won six Grammy Awards and has sold over 40 million records worldwide. She began her career as a singer with singing in a church choir in her hometown. She was raised very religiously by her mother and father. She is the mother of two children and she is also a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. Toni Braxton is mostly known for the superhit "Unbreak my heart"

Grammy award winning singer Toni Braxton ruled the ninties with hits like "Unbreak my heart" and "You're making me high" but lately her singing career hasn't really been what it used to be.
In 2009 she came out with a new album Pulse wich did ok but still wasn't up to par to her previous work. Now it seems like she's given up on the musical comeback and is focusing on her new reality show. It's called "Braxton Family values" and features Toni, her sisters Traci, Towanda, Tamar and Trina. The show is about all of the family drama, sibling rivalry, money issues and more. They are a very close family and now they are putting it all out there! The first episode airs April 12 on WE tv.

The New We Are The World Song - Hit or Miss?

As everyone knows by now, the huge hit song from the 80's "we are the world" written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, was remade this year to help the people of Haiti. The song debuted this weekend at the opening of the Winter Olympics in Canada. Even though the song went to number on iTunes this weekend and has already raised a lot of money to help the poor people of Haiti hit by earthquakes, not everyone is a fan of the song. Artists like Jay-Z have said they think there should have been a brand new song written, instead of a new version of the first "We are the world". Jay-Z thinks the first one was so special, it should have stayed untouched by a remix. What do you think? Here is the new version and the old for you to watch and vote on!

Even though Taylor Swift took the big award for album of the year at the Grammy Awards last night, it was actually R&B queen Beyonce's big night! She took home 6 Grammy trophies, a new record for a female artist!
