Hollywood must have been rather boring yesterday as all the celebrities seemed to have attended the 2008 Costume Institute Gala at the Met in New York yesterday! The gala was held to celebrate the museum?s new exhibition Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy and on the red carpet were celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Mischa Barton and Blake Lively. The best red carpet look belonged to ethereal beauty Gisele Bundchen who was wearing a cut-out pink dress that looked fantastic on her!

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their adorable daughter Suri were in New York this week and were seen leaving their hotel with Suri in Katie's arms. The interesting thing with these pictures is the fact that Suri's hair seems to be several nuances lighter all of a sudden! Either it's the sun's doing, which we really doubt, or mom Katie Holmes has actually colored her little girl's hair! Isn't it a little early to start playing around with hair colors when you?re only a few years old? We think TomKat should wait a little and let Suri decide for herself what color hair she wants!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are in New York and were seen returning to their hotel after watching Coutry Girl on Broadway and dining with Jessica Seinfeld (the wife of Jerry). Katie, in a killer pair of Christian Louboutin heels, held her husband's hand as he signed autographs for fans, probably to show photographers that their relationship is just fine. The couple had a hard time getting through the crowd of people in front of the hotel and when they finally entered the hotel the doorman wanted the pair to stop for a chat before they could retire for the night. It's not easy being a famous couple!

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidmans adopted son Connor Cruise has decided to follow in his parents footsteps and has just been given a part in Will Smiths new movie Seven Pounds! Connor will play a younger version of Will in a relatively small part and sources tell People that Tom couldn't be prouder of his son! We know you're all thinking that it's probably not too hard to get a part in a Will Smith movie when he and your father are friends but that's where you're wrong! Connor had to audition for the part like everyone else even though we'll admit it must be easier to audition when you can bring Tom Cruise as your mentor!

Diddy, Eva Longoria and Will Smith! The best outfit belonged to Katie Holmes who was wearing a pretty yellow silk dress but all the guests looked great and we love Gwen Stefanis make up and hair! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri celebrated her second birthday this weekend in Beverly Hills. The Mexican themed party was held at a private home and all the guests were given straw hats and flower headdresses to wear at the party. Suri was dressed in a beautiful white cotton dress and seemed to enjoy being the center of attention! The whole Cruise family was there to celebrate the little girl, including Tom's mother and his two adopted children, Isabella and Connor. Congratulations Suri!
