American actor Tom Cruise was spotted in some very stylish clothes when he left his apartment in New York City. He seemed to be channeling his old "Risky Business"-look wearing fashionable glasses and a navy jumper. Looking good Tom!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes was photographed outside their appartment in NYC lately. With them was their cute little daughter Suri who wasn't really in a mood for any adventure. The family was heading to Katies last performance in All My Sons.

Tom Cruise and his cute wife Katie Holmes have called in the FBI after being scared by a series of death threats they have received from anti-scientology groups. A close friend to the family, a leading Scientologist, say that the threats probably are from groups opposed to the religious organisation. Security has anyway been stepped up around TomKat and they are driving around in bomb-proof vehicles, according to The Mail on Sunday.

Tom Cruise just revealed that he regrets his outburst on The Oprah Winfrey show in May 2005. But the actor also points out that the media's backlash brought him closer to his wife Katie Holmes. Tom agrees he should have controlled himself better during his appearance on the show. He jumped up and down on the Oprahs's sofa as he expressed his love for Katie Holmes and was extremely ridiculed for his behaviour. "There are things that I could have done better", he says. "I could have handled things better. I was surprised at the criticism. As a father and husband, you want to protect your family and tell them not to worry because it is all going to be OK." According to Tom Cruise himself, this whole backlash brought the family closer as he tells the Daily Mirror: "Going through that stuff is not pleasant and I think it hit an extreme, but Kate's a very sure and confident and strong woman. You just learn from it and move on. I have a blessed life because I have a happy family and children that I adore and everyone knows how I feel about Kate. It just brought us even closer together".

Tom Cruise may have a Golden Globe nomination for Tropic Thunder, but according to daughter Suri, his performance as Santa Claus needs some work. "I'm always Santa, the teenagers know it's me, but I was surprised at Suri last year. Katie made the Santa outfit and when I came out, I did my best Santa impression. She looked at me and said, 'No, dada.' This year, I'm going to do a little better. I'm workin' on it."

In an interview for The Hills after-show, Tom Cruise was asked what advice he had for Spencer Pratt, who recently eloped with Heidi Montag. He said that Spencer may have made a mistake since Heidi has always talked about wanting a big wedding with her family. "If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding," Cruise said. "It's a special occasion, and she'll remember it forever. Spencer... dude... you'll realize this later." In a response, Pratt told Us Magazine "You all know how I feel about big weddings, but if Tom Cruise says so, it must be true. If Tom's the best man, we'll have a big wedding!"
