Rock sensation Bill Kaulitz and his band Tokio Hotel performed on Alexa Chung's show "Its On With Alexa Chung" last night and as usual the mostly girl audience went totally wild as soon as Bill came on stage! The band sang their big hit "Automatic" live in the MTV Studios in New York. Bill was dressed in his usual sexy emo self in leathers, mohawk and big sunglasses....he never disappoints! Tokio Hotel is a German band founded by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz (identical twin brothers), bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer. The quartet have sold more than 5 million albums in Germany alone. The four met in a Magdeburg club in 2001 after a live show. Schäfer and Listing, who knew each other from music school, watched from the audience while Bill and Tom Kaulitz performed. Under the band name "Devilish" the quartet began playing in talent shows and small concerts. They were later discovered by a music producer and changed their name to Tokio Hotel, due to a love of Tokio and due to their constant touring and living in hotels. The band has now become one of Germanys biggest music exports.

Tokio Hotel band member Bill Kaulitz was adding to his funky wardrobe in Paris yesterday when all of a sudden he was spotted by fans! Of course soon afterwards, the press and mad screaming girl fans gathered in the street to catch a glimpse of their sexy rocker hero. Bill was soon surrounded by bodyguards and taken back to his hotel. So much for shopping! He didn't seem to mind the attention too much though, he even had a little smile for the cameras.

The boys from smash hit band Tokio Hotel made an appearance on hilarious Spanish TV Show El Hormiguero yesterday and they had the crowd in complete chaos! The german cuties answered some questions about there album and spoke a lot of bad Spanish, but the girls didn't seem to mind, in fact, they screamed and cried anytime Bill Kaulitz or one of the other guys Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer said or did anything! Must be fun to be a teenage heart throb! Bill is so dreamy and special, we understand why the girls go nuts for him!

Katy Perry, Tokio Hotel and Leona Lewis in all honor but it seems the Europe Music Awards is never quite able to attract any big celebrity stars (especially the Americans)! The World Music Awards however will be attended by both Beyonce and Solange Knowles as well as Alicia Keys and the Knowles sisters were spotted arriving at Nice airport just yesterday. The drummer in Tokio Hotel, Gustav Schäfer, drove around with two friends in his BMW in the German city Magdeburg. He did a overtaking on a rail when he crashed with a tram. The car was then thrown to the other side of the road where it crashed with two cars. Everybody in the drummer's car is on the hospital but have no serious injuries. He is going to make it with the rest of his band to European music awards in Liverpool.
