17-year old Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen is on the cover of the November issue of Revolver Magazine, dressed in nothing but her underwear while holding a rifle. The edgy cover is however nothing out of the ordinary for young Taylor, who's no stranger to creating media riots. She's seen wearing one barely covering outfit after the other, flashes her breasts on stage when performing with her band, smokes cigarettes in public and is generally very, very, very foul-mouthed.

Her behaviour has baffled many, but in this latest interview with Revolver she actually gives some what of an acceptable explanation to her bad behaviour; apparently her overly pushy parents are to blame! She explains: "My parents signed me up with Ford [Modeling] at the age of 2. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice. I was 7 when I broke out as a kid star, playing Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."

What do you guys think of Taylor's explanation? Is it valid or just a poor excuse to try and justify her behaviour?
