Gwen Stefani is one of the celebrity designers who has been around the longest, having debuted her clothing like L.A.M.B. in 2003. The collection is inspired by Gwens personal style and in 2005 she expanded her designer empire with the Harajuku Lovers line, this time drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and fashion. The collection was inspired by her four back-up dancers known as the Harajuku Girls. The clothes are priced around $150-300.

The name is as you may guess inspired by the single that made Madonna famous in the 80s and the designs are based on Madonna's early style. In 2008 Lauren debuted her first fashion line called "The Lauren Conrad Collection" at the Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week. A year later, she announced that she would be taking a hiatus from the fashion line due to the poor economy. To soothe her designer needs she decided to start designing budget clothes for Kohl, which resulted in the collection LC by Lauren Conrad that's currently being sold in Kohl's stores nationwide.

P.Diddy is the veteran of the bunch. His clothing label, Sean John was founded in 1998 and has a total revenue of 125 million dollars yearly. The company takes its name from Combs' first and middle given names and includes smart street wear for men and women. The collection is affordable yet glamorous and Diddys fellow rapper friends are often seen wearing it. Jennifer Lopez debuted her clothing line 'JLO by Jennifer Lopez' in 2003, and in 2005 she launched a new clothing line called Sweetface. However in late 2006, she discontinued JLO by Jennifer Lopez in the US and launched a new juniors' line called JustSweet. But in 2009 the two other lines regrettably bit the dust as well due to poor sales. Her JLO by Jennifer Lopez continues to sell on the international market but we'll have to wait and see if the pop diva ever dares to conquer the US market again.

It's no secret that most celebrities have a passion for fashion! Many of them have tried their luck as clothing designers at one point or another, with varying results. Whilst some prefer to design the occasional collection for another clothing brand, Like Kate Moss for Topshop and Rachel Bilson for DKNY, a few of them are brave enough to take the plunge into high end fashion with no one to back them. Celebrities like Kanye West & Jaimie Pressley failed before their collections even hit the market, and others like Mandy Moore and Heidi Montag had their designer dreams crushed after just a few seasons. It's a ruthless business and your name can only take you so far, if you dont have the necessary fashion skills you can kiss your dreams of designer glory good bye!

This Week's Worst Dressed Celebrities

9. Sharon Stone probably thought she was bang on trend with this leather dress and she is right, leather dresses are hot right now, just make sure they are flattering to your figure! This polo neck isn't doing her any favours!

8. We said it earlier this week, we don't know what Jessica Biel was thinking with this very ruffled lacey Oscar de la Renta dress! On her it looks totally old granny and not in a cool vintage way either!

7. We wish stars like Thandie Newton, who have gorgeous bodies, would stop hiding in shapeless sack dresses! This dress does nothing for her!

6. Demi Moore needs to start dressing for her age, this gold and black dress just doesn't work for her. It s on Jessica Alba or Kim Kardashian maybe, but Demi is bordering on silly trying to be edgy!

5. To understand how wrong this dress is for Rosario Dawson, its best to see it from the back! The slit is pulling at her butt making her look much bigger than she is and the shoulder detail is not flattering either. This looks home made!

4. Oh no Padma Lakshmi, want happened to your hair?! We actually don't totally hate this dress, but this hairdo makes her face look completely flat! Styling Styling Styling!

3. Tattoo artist Kat Von D walks a fine line between grungey rock chic and just plain trashy. With this outfit she went way into the trailer side of trash for us! This top's holes don't look edgy, they just make her look cheap and like she is trying too hard! Oh and the garters over the jeans? NO!

2. Singer Lissie goes granny in this vintage for the Q Awards and its a fail for us! The granny panty corset under that lace is not sexy either, its just all wrong!

1. We are so sick of Taylor Momsen trying so hard to shock us! Style is supposed to be effortless and cool. But in this see-through and less underwear with the red eyes and the SLAVE necklace she just looks totally overdone and cliched! Move on Taylor!

We can't believe the bad fashion from this week. It was a mess of celebs trying to hard and what came out was disaster of disaster. We realize it was Halloween, but none of these outfits from stars like Sharon Stone, Demi Moore or Kat Von D were supposed to be costumes as far as we can tell...

Is Taylor Momsen's bad girl image getting a little too try hard? While on stage with her band The Pretty Reckless in New York City this weekend, she pulled opened her top and flashed her breasts while singing, luckily she was wearing nipple pasties, so she didn't reveal all exactly, but she is definitely making a statement. She is not sweet 16 anymore! Taylor also switched up her usual black smokey makeup look for a pinky/red eye and check out the "SLAVE" necklace. Its all getting a much now right?!
