Stella McCartney is the designing daughter of Sir Paul McCartney. Was an intern at Christian Lacroix when she was only 15. Graduated from St Martins College of Art & Design in 1995 showingcasing her first collection of clothes (modeled by friends Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss). Stella was appointed chief designer at Chloé but resigned after four years to start her own brand.

Kate Hudson has been shooting her new movie Bride Wards opposite Anne Hathaway in New York City lately but yesterday she sneaked off the set to meet her friend Stella McCartney. Stella and Kate have been friends for a long time and yesterday Kate accompanied her designer buddy to a fashion show in the West Village. Kate looked great in her blonde curls, short black jacket and cool black clutch; Stella on the other hand looked very old and tired! Maybe she should cut back on work a little?

Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden where seen leaving Stella McCartney's store in Beverly Hills yesterday and they were both looking pretty glum. Could that perhaps have something to do with the fact that Joel was photographed sitting a little too close to Nicole's frenemy Lindsay Lohan at a Cinco de Mayo party the other day?! We're not really sure what Joel and Lindsay have in common but we don't think Nicole (or her friend Paris Hilton) are too happy about those photos. Nicole and Joel, who have a daughter together, have also recently revealed that they have no plans to marry yet. Let's just hope for Harlow's sake that they stay together!

Hollywood must have been rather boring yesterday as all the celebrities seemed to have attended the 2008 Costume Institute Gala at the Met in New York yesterday! The gala was held to celebrate the museum?s new exhibition Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy and on the red carpet were celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham, Mischa Barton and Blake Lively. The best red carpet look belonged to ethereal beauty Gisele Bundchen who was wearing a cut-out pink dress that looked fantastic on her!
