Pop girl group which consisted of Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell was according to BBC, the best-selling girl group of all time. Their debut single "Wannabe" in 1996 hit the number one spot on top lists in 31 countries , what was to be the beginning of their "global phenomenon". When Spice Girls later released their first album, "Spice", it sold over 23 million copies worldwide which clearly hit the records. With only three albums, the groups has managed to sell more than 60 million copies. The hysteria around the female group has been compared to the Beatlemania. Geri Halliwell left the group in 1998 in the middle of numerous rumours, bu the band kept going until 2000 to focus on their solo careers. Spice Girls re-formed in 2007 for their Reunion Tour as they launched their Greatest Hits-album.
Four BRIT Awards, three American Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Awards and three World Music Awards.

Victoria Beckham was as usual incredibly chic when she went shopping at a department store in New York City yesterday afternoon! Dressed in a pretty grey sleeveless blouse and a black and white skirt with a wide belt Victoria looked every bit the superstar that she is! Naturally she was also wearing movie star-sized sunglasses to avoid all the camera flashes! Maybe Victoria bought something pretty to celebrate the Glamour award she and the other Spice Girls received in London last night?!

When the Glamour Women of the Year Awards were presented yesterday in Berkley Square Gardens in London three of the five Spice Girls showed up on the red carpet! The group received one of the awards and their to accept it were Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel B. Unfortunately Mel C couldn't make it and as you all know, Victoria Beckham is busy charming the Americans! Other celebrities who made it to the event were super cool model Agyness Deyn, Hayden Panettiere and actress Kate Beckinsale!

Mel B of the Spice Girls was spotted with her husband Stephen Belafonte while they left the club Foxtail Lounge in LA this past Friday. "Scary Spice" wore a beautiful white dress and a pair of leopard boots (we hope they were fake)! She looked happy and doesnīt seem to miss the Spice Girlsīs tour at all!

An ever-shrinking Geri Halliwell was photographed in Hampstead, north of London, yesterday doing some serious shopping att CoChineChine boutique. It seems that Geri has been working out just as hard as she did before the Spice Girls reunion tour and was looking slimmer and fitter than ever in her miniskirt. Let's just hope she doesn't take the whole working out thing too far! Geri also stopped by a digital camera store but didn't find one this time!

Former Spice Girl Mel B has just been announced as the new face of the underwear company Ultimo and we?re not surprised! The singer has been working out every day since she and the other Spice Girls decided to do a reunion tour so her body is now in better shape than ever! Mel was seen leaving trendy restaurant Mr. Chow with a male friend yesterday and even though the Spice Girls haven?t released a new album since the 90?s fans crowded outside the restaurant in hope of getting an autograph!
