Six Feet Under centers on Fisher & Sons Funeral HOme, a family-run funeral home. The family consists of father Nathaniel Fisher, his wife Ruth and their children David and Claire. As the second son, Nate Jr., returns home for Christmas the father is killed by a bus. Therefor Nate has to stay to run the family business together with his brother. The set of Six Feet Under is modern-day Los Angeles.
