Solange Knowles has gone crazy with the patterns, this was a bit too much. We love Olivia Palermo's style, she knows how to mix high-fashion with basics. This was an okey combo by 90210 star, Shenae Grimes. We like how Fearne Cotton matches grey with grey. This is a brave outfit Emma Roberts, but only you can rock it! Rachel Bilson chose to wear jeans...as usual, but with star prints on! You can also wear patterned leggings to your work out, like Minka Kelly. Jesscia Alba has a thing for patterns and colors, it has become her signature style. Cheryl Cole in an all green outfit and green patterned pants.
We know it, the celebrities know it, and now it's time for you to know it (and wear it!) We're sure that those who live and sleep fashion already know about the hottest summer trend: patterned pants. Singer Rochelle Wiseman in flower pants, hot! It looks like Cher Lloyd just woke up and is wearing pyjamas! Olivia Palermo is a true fashionista! Just look how she matches her floral pants perfectly! Rihanna wears pattern all the way. Fearne Cotton in some nice star patterned pants. Emma Roberts in a terrible outfit, not hot! Vanessa Hudgens wears pattern pants as her festival outfit, it works! Shenae Grimes is cute in her floral pants. British model Poppy Delevigne in some cool pants.

Maybe it's the angle, but this dress makes Leona Lewis look a lot bigger than she actually is! We really hate this Micheal Kors Resort 2012 dress on Nikki Reed. She looked much better in neon on our Best Dressed List. Bad hair, bad colors, bad socks, bad look, bad Bip Ling. We're all for dip dye hair, but this look reminds us of a unicorn princess. Go to a new hairstylist, Lacey Schwimmer. We usually love Jamie Chung's looks, but the socks shortened her legs and the boots are ill-matched. Two words: denim shorts. Never wear denim shorts on the red carpet, Shenae Grimes should know better. Emmanuelle Chriqui's look is a bit too matchy-matchy for us. And here is Ashley again! It looks like she made this dress herself. It's Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2012. Terrible. We love Tilda Swinton and we usually love her style, but this look isn't our fave. She's wearing a Haider Ackermann outfit and it's too much satin.
Weird cut-out, space-age angles, and neon colors made the list for worst dressed. Some of the clothes we saw on our fave celebs were so strange, like Ashley Greene, who made the list twice because of her unfortunate outfit choices. Click on the pics to see more of this week's worst dressed!

Kendall Jenner looking stylish i velvet, but what is her sister Kylie wearing? Penelope Cruz wore velvet at this year's Cannes Film Festival! Uncertain about this trend? Try wearing a dress that's only part velvet like Leighton Meester! OMG, what in the world was Jessica Biel thinking?! Hmm, a little too much going on with this dress Shenae Grimes... Kelly Osbourne actually looks pretty elegant in this long velvet skirt! We're not so sure that this dress if this is dress is flattering on Peaches Geldof...? Miranda Cosgrove looks like a Disney Princess gone goth... and it's not working! Unflattering, ugly, unwatchable... Words that could describe what Anna Kendrick is wearing!
We're sensing a big velvet comeback this fall! We've seen a lot of celebs wearing velvet this summer and we have a feeling that it's just a hint of what's to come. But we're a bit torn, do we love or hate velvet?

Some celebs like Ashley Tisdale and Kelly Osbourne know how to rock velvet but others like Jessica Biel and Anna Kendrick just look like a 90's throwback. Velvet is a difficult fabric to wear and can easily look too stuffy. If you want to experiment with velvet we suggest going subtle and pairing velvet with another fabric, like a velvet skirt with a cotton top or a pair of lush, velvet heels!
