Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has revealed that his daughter has contracted lung emphysema and that she might be confined to a wheelchair within a month if she continues using drugs. The doctors have warned the singer that she could be forced to wear a permanent oxygen mask if she doesn't listen to their advice. Mitch says "To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter's life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her." He has also said that he doesn't want Amy hanging out with her old friends anymore and that includes Pete Doherty. Source: Mailonsunday.com.

Winehouse has an irregular heartbeat after se collapsed in her London home this Monday and now their family is hoping that this could be the wake-up call she needs. The doctors at the hospital are trying to wean Amy off heroin and if that doesn't work, Amy's family may have Amy sectioned. Source: The Sun.

Get Smart actress Anne Hathaway put on a brave face the other day at the world premiere of her new movie after breaking up with longtime boyfriend Raffaelo Follieri this weekend. The two have been dating for four years and the reason for the split it said to have been all the scandals that have been linked to Follieri's charity foundation which, was recently subject to investigation by the New York City State Attorney General's Office. A source reveals, "It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation". Amy Winehouse father has confirmed that his daughter had an affair while her husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been in jail. It was rumored that Amy fell for her manager?s assistant Alex Haines but the Back to Black singer denied this. Mitch Winehouse has however confirmed that the rumor was in fact true and that that was the reason Haines was fired. Mitch tells the magazine The People that he was very upset when he found out, "I really lost it and shouter at her that she had to sort herself out. She seemed stunned I was so upset. I think it was the first time it hit home how her behavior has affected the family". Wonder what Blake has to say about all this?!
