Well Katy is also working on taking his name officially! So she will be Katy Brand from now on and she says people are already calling her Mrs Brand to get her attention and she loves it. What a perfect surname for a celebrity - Brand! Get it? hehe!

Russell Brand and Katy Perry arrived on the red carpet last night, alongside amazing Hollywood actors like Helen Mirren and Djimon Hounsou and Alan Cumming. Russell has done a movie with them called "The Tempest". It was originally a play by Shakespeare.
Even though Russell still plays a crazy, funny character, the rumor is that this movie is his way of showing everyone, he is more than just a stand-up comic and can really act. Even though newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand are big admirers of that other HUGE power couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, Katy says she and Russell don't plan to ever go into business together like the Beckhams have.
Katy is promoting her brand new "Purr" fragrance right now, but she says we shouldn't expect a Russell and Katy version any time soon! Katy says she and Russell are way too busy doing there own projects and enjoy their independence from each other. Very classy decision Katy, but we actually wouldn't mind seeing the two of them together more! They are one of our favorite couples at the moment! (Source: Wenn)
