Dita Von Teese revealed exclusively that she has turned down the legendary lothario Russell Brand. According to the burlesque star herself, Russell constantly called her begging her to go on a date with her. "I will not be shagging Russell Brand," she tells the Daily Star. "I was the subject of one of his [radio] phone calls once but I didn't answer, thank goodness!? It was just good female intuition."

Although Russell Brand is a comedian and often makes fun of others, he sure has a hard time with people joking around about him! The comedian is unable to take any sort of criticism, "I'm a very sensitive person," he says. "So I don't like to read or hear anything negative about myself, under any circumstances at all." Apparently, this makes it awkward to work with him, "I'm a difficult actor to direct," as he told The Observer Magazine. "Because if the director says anything other than, "That was brilliant, amazing - what do you think of these ideas? Why, you're so clever and very handsome", I'm like: Oh fine, f*uck you!" I'd feel hurt, but also think, "leave me alone, I'm trying my hardest!" Well Russell Brand, news flash, this is how things gets done in Hollywood!

Russell's Hollywood career has started really good, he is going to play Captain Jack Sparrows brother in the next Pirates of the Caribbean film. The comedian Russell Brand was hosting the MTV Video Music Awards 2008 yesterday and he mocked the Jonas Brothers for being virgins. Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas all wears promise ring as a proof for their virginity and as a promise to wait until they are married to have sex. After the show, a lot of people were upset and Russell had to apologize. He said that he loves the Jonas Brothers and that he thinks it is a good thing to be a virgin, but a little bit of sex now and then doesn't hurt anyone.
