History: Ray-Ban were created in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb. A lieutenant complained that his eyes were damaged after a balloon flying adventure and asked B & L to create sunglasses that protected the eyes from the sun and still looked elegant. Pilots in the United States Arny immediately liked the prototype and started using them, The "Ray-Ban Aviator" was born. Ray-Bans have been seen in hundreds of movies; some of the most well-known are Breakfast at Tiffanys starring Audrey Hepburn, Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi and Men In Black starring Will Smith.

Michelle Williams and her daughter, cutie Matilda went walkabout with a friend anda dog in New York yesterday. The two ladies showed they are both flower children at heart. Michelle with her printed dress and little Matilda with flower beanie, similar to the ones her dad Heath Ledger used to wear. So sweet!

Is Jared Leto filming a Joaquim Phoenix-style interview about his life as a celebrity? We are not sure why he is walking around with camera and microphone strapped to his body. The "30 Seconds to Mars" singer is behaving very mysteriously, and looking more and more like Kurt Cobain everytime we see him, with his flannel shirt and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Is he playing Kurt Cobain in a new movie? It looks like it to us!

Kate Moss is really grown-up all of a sudden! The ex-supermodel and her boyfriend Jamie Hince are in Paris for fashion week and they both looked seriously toned down and sophisticated. We think Kate needs to be careful of transforming into a boring, matronly old lady though. Covered from neck to toe in a grey jersey dress while shopping at Fendi, she looked like a completely different person! We love Jamie's outfit though, please not the man-bag!
