History: Ray-Ban were created in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb. A lieutenant complained that his eyes were damaged after a balloon flying adventure and asked B & L to create sunglasses that protected the eyes from the sun and still looked elegant. Pilots in the United States Arny immediately liked the prototype and started using them, The "Ray-Ban Aviator" was born. Ray-Bans have been seen in hundreds of movies; some of the most well-known are Breakfast at Tiffanys starring Audrey Hepburn, Blues Brothers with Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi and Men In Black starring Will Smith.

The Jonas Brothers arrived at the BBC One Radio studios this morning for an interview, and their adoring British girl fans were there waiting for them! The boys, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas, of course were friendly and signed autographs and posed for photos for ages before they were finally called inside to go on air. They are just the nicest guys ever!
