Penelope Cruz is promoting her new movie Broken Embraces in New York at the moment. The paps were waiting for Penelope outside of her hotel in Manhattan last night hoping to capture a picture of her growing bump, but Penelope was too fast for them! She immediately stuck her handbag(gorgeous!) in front of her tummy and pulled her shirt out so nobody could see anything! So far Penelope is still refusing to confirm her pregnancy and wants to focus on her movie.

Poor Penelope Cruz! The Spanish star is in Cannes for the premiere of her new movie LOS ABRAZOS ROTOS (Broken Embraces), but she almost did not make it to the party! Penelope has been sick in bed since she arrived at Cannes on Sunday because of food poisoning! She must have been feeling better today though, because she looked her usual stunning self posing with the movie's director Pedro Almodovar, her good friend! Oops! Beautiful Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is in Lanzarote at the moment filming her new movie Broken Hugs. The movie is directed by Pedro Almodovar whom Penelope has worked with several times before and he was also on set making sure everything went as planned. Penelope ran around on Famaras beach in jean shorts and a tank top and it seemed as though it was quite windy because Cruz was chasing a newspaper!

Pedro Almodovar is planning a new movie and was in Lanzarote this weekend to analyze the territory where he wants to build the set. Actress Penelope Cruz will star in the movie and was with Pedro as he walked around inspecting the beach and taking pictures of the surroundings. The actress, who has been in several of Almodovar's movies already, was carrying something that looked like a movie script under her arm and was dressed very casually in Seven jeans and a white t-shirt. Let's hope they found what they were looking for so that they can start shooting soon!
