Artists are known to pick far-away and exotic locations for their music videos, and sometimes the locals complain, but things usually don't end in a gunfight! The Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had a particularly unfortunate run-in with the Mexican locals at the mountain rainforest Xilitla in October when she was shooting a music video for her single "Try With Me" as it ended in a gun drama! Her car was ambushed by an armed local gang, but luckily no shots were fired as the groups came to some sort of understanding. We're not entirely sure how they solved things, but we're guessing money (and perhaps an autograph, hehe).
Nicole has yet to comment about the ordeal herself, but choreographer Brian Friedman who was with Nicole in the car at the time recently gave his side of the story, "We were held at gunpoint. People next to our cars… there were M16s and Berettas! Nicole cursed me with this trip. It was the craziest adventure ever!”
Doesn't sound like he's too shaken up about it, it actually appears that he mainly just sees it as a cool thing to add to his resume! Let's hope Nicole feels the same way.
