Melissa Leo wore a floral crochet/cut out short-sleeved Mark Bouwer gown...we don't love it really...but its not so horrible either... Everyone says Jennifer Lawrence was a knockout in this red Calvin Klein, we think she could've done more Amy Adams in blue sequinned L'Wren Scott. We love the dress but the jewelry was all wrong Cate Blanchett went all high fashion in this complicated textured dress from Givenchy's latest collection Jennifer Hudson was dramatic in this statement burnt orange Versace Gwyneth Paltrow, we loved! This metallic Calvin Klein is a perfect fit for her Natalie Portman was adorable mommy-to-be in this berry colored Rodarte dress Scarlett Johansson Dolce & Gabbana dress, in a similar color to Natalie's kind of kicked ass, but Scarlett's hair ruined it for her! We hated this vintage Charles James on Marisa Tomei. Its probably a lovely dress, just not on her! Sharon Stone was totally overdone. She looked like the evil queen from snow white in this goth-like dress with the huge bouffant hairdo Break out young star Hailee Steinfeld again was perfect for her age in this soft pink Marchesa princess dress. So pretty! We loved Michelle Williams in this Chanel gown, but we are bored with her in this color and style Florence Welch in a yellow tiered gown, we were not impressed either Mandy Moore went for this romantic look in Monique Lhullier, but if it wasn't for that bright lipstick, the color would have washed her out Russell Brand brought his mom and she looked hot in lace! Helen Bonham Carter wore this kind of fugly gown by costume designer Collen Atwood Celine Dion looked a little out-dated in a white long sleeve Armani Prive gown Hugh Jackman is so hot, what is he doing with frumpy and strange-looking Deborra-Lee Furness? It must be love! Hilary Swank nailed it on the red carpet as usual in this sparkly Gucci gown with the feather details Wow Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz on the red carpet together! She is one hot mamma just a month after giving birth! Of all the fab Christian Dior gowns out there, why did Nicole Kidman choose this one? We hate the hair too! Helen Mirren perfect as usual in Vivienne Westwood Yay Halle Berry is back! This Marchesa gown was hot hot hot on her! Camila Alves went for simple and but still high drama with the full skirt. We love this look for her Christian Bale's girlfriend Sandra Blazic is the perfect date as she looked elegant without upstaging him with her dress Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang, we don't know why, but we are not excited, although there is nothing wrong and she looks good! Reese Witherspoon having a sixties moment in black Armani Prive Anne Hathaway in classic Valentino red. Gorgeous!
Maybe we were too excited about the Oscars and all the build up to the event, but we were kind of disappointed with the red carpet last night. We weren't totally amazed and blown away as usual! There was a great mixture of nudes, metallics, bright colors and strong black gowns, but nothing cutting edge or special. The girls who really stood out for us were, Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and of course Mila Kunis, who had to be the night's best dressed...do you agree? Who did you love and hate? 9. We adored Selena Gomez's little purple jewel-toned mini dress at the Justin Bieber movie premiere this week. What a clever way to standout on the red carpet and still keep it really classy! 8. We think this animal print Roberto Cavalli gown really worked on Miley Cyrus at the Grammy Awards. It is sexy without looking cheap and trendy without looking like she just threw whatever is hot right now onto her body! 7. The Kardashian sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian show exactly how to make a trend work for your body type! Well done girls! 6. Emma Watson has worn this Burberry coat before and made our best dressed list and when we saw it on her again this weekend at the BAFTA awards party, we just about died again! It was made especially for her, the lucky girl! 5. Jessica Alba was lovelier than we have seen her in a long time in this bright blue Versace dress, ethnic necklace and pretty plaited hairdo for the BAFTA awards. Welcome back to stylista status Jessica! 4. We are so glad Jennifer Hudson has not lost all her sexy curves after dropping so much weight recently. She makes it looks effortless, being this chic! 2. Nicole Kidman sizzling on the red carpet again, yay! Of course it took a hot off the runway Jean Paul Gaultier gown for her to get it right! We are in love with this dress, seriously! 1. Big snaps to Kelly Osbourne for making an ordinary outing on the streets a runway event! She is dressing perfectly for her body-type lately and we love it when she combines pretty girly pieces with edgier ones. So inspiring this girl!

9. Anne Hathaway wore this mismatched, unflattering combination of separates on the red carpet this week. It was for an animated movie, so maybe she was trying to get in touch with her inner cartoon?! 8. Its not Billie Piper's outfit that is bothering as much as that horrible greasy hair is! 7. Maggie Gyllenhaal's love of vintage clothing sometimes goes really wrong and ends up making her look like someones granny or aunty. Case in point with this dotted wrap blouse and skirt! 6. We prefer it when Helena Bonham Carter looks totally whacked out. When she tries to wear a "normal" black dress with pearls, she just looks plain wrong! 5. Even though the color and the print are actually amazing, this dress on Nicole Kidman is a disaster from the silly bow around the neck to the frill on the ankle! Fail! 4. Another blue disaster for Hayden Panettiere! Its just all too much! The tights the velvet with the sheer panels. Pick one design detail and stick to it please! 3. As we said before, its time for Katherine Heigl to hire a stylist! There are elements of this outfit that could be amazing, but she just has no clue on how to put things together. Hot mess! 2. Jordan looks cheap and ridiculous, combining sweatpants and a t shirt with a luxe fur shawl and headpiece. Ew! 1. R&B performer Jessie J gets in touch with her inner goth drag queen.
