The collection is inspired by Gwens personal style and in 2005 she expanded her designer empire with the Harajuku Lovers line, this time drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and fashion. The company takes its name from Combs' first and middle given names and includes smart street wear for men and women. Jennifer Lopez debuted her clothing line 'JLO by Jennifer Lopez' in 2003, and in 2005 she launched a new clothing line called Sweetface. However in late 2006, she discontinued JLO by Jennifer Lopez in the US and launched a new juniors' line called JustSweet. But in 2009 the two other lines regrettably bit the dust as well due to poor sales.
