Last night the new Batman movie The Dark Knight premiered in New York and naturally a whole slew of A-list celebrities showed up on the red carpet! Blake Lively and Ed Westwick represented Gossip Girl, Lauren Conrad represented The Hills and Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Michael Caine, well, they're in the movie! Everyone smiled for the cameras and seemed to be having a good time but unfortunately the premiere was somewhat overshadowed by the fact that Heath Ledger couldn't be there. His family had however flewn in from Australia to see their son in his last ever performance.
