Weddings are often some of the most exciting parts in a movie or tv series. Most recently there was the big surprise of Katherine Heigl wearing Ellen Pompeo's dress in Grey's Anatomy and who can forget dresses like Kelly Rutherford's elegant one for Gossip Girl and Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher's lovely dresses for their Desperate Housewives' weddings. We know you are just as excited as we are to see Heidi Montag's wedding at the end of the The Hills season too! Of course the wedding dress to top all dresses was the dramatic Vivienne Westwood gown in the Sex and the City movie....here are some of our favourites.

"Slumdog Millionaire" stars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel

Stars like Claire Danes, Amy Adams and Taraji P. Henson really didn't make a huge effort at the glamour stakes on this weekend's red carpet at the 61st Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. Maybe they get bored of all these award ceremonies, or are they just waiting till the Oscars to really wow us? We hope they do!

The premiere of the movie Eagle Eye was held at the Manns Grauman Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The star of the movie; Shia LaBeouf was surrounded by beautiful women like Megan Fox, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Malin Åkerman and Kristin Cavallari.

Michelle Monaghan expecting!

Made of Honor star Michelle Monaghan and her husband, graphic designer Peter White, are expecting their first child! Monaghan's rep confirmed to People yesterday and added that the couple is "very excited". Monaghan is due late in the fall which means she is already a couple of months along. The actress met her husband in a New York bar and later married in August of 2005. When Monaghan's new movie Made of Honor premiered in New York she told reporters that children were "in our future, for sure" and now we know how she could be so sure! Congratulations!

Michelle Monaghan and Patrick Dempsey have had a tough schedule this week and have been to pretty much every big city in Europe promoting their new movie Made of Honor. The day before yesterday they were in Stockholm, last week they were in Denmark and yesterday they were in the Spanish capital Madrid to attend yet another premiere. We hope for their sake that they don't have to watch the movie because by now they must be sick of it, even if it is good! Michelle was cute in a simple black tank top and a purple skirt and Patrick wore a black suit and a striped tie.

Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan charm the Swedes!

Dr. McDreamy, or Patrick Dempsey, and his co-star Michelle Monaghan continued their European promo tour yesterday in Stockholm, Sweden. Their new movie Made of Honor premiered there last night and Michelle and Patrick looked happy to be in Sweden even though they've probably already seen the movie several times! Michelle looked pretty in a simple black dress with chain detailing and Dempsey was wearing a rather boring grey suit with a grey tie. It wouldn't kill you to wear a little more color McDreamy!
