Penelope Cruz she is insecure about many things, but aging is obviously not one of them! Penelope says she is so inspired by actresses like Dame Judi Dench, Meryl Streep and Sophia Loren who have aged naturally and gracefully. Penelope says these women still light up a room with their beauty and this has made her realise there is still so much to look forward to as she becomes older. Good for you Penelope, at least there is one botox-free young actress in Hollywood! (Female First)

The British version of the Oscars, The Orange British Academy Film Awards were held at the Royal Opera House in London. It was pouring with rain on the night though, so celebs had to either find an attractive pose with an umbrella or brave the wet weather. Who do you think did the best job handling the rain?

Mamma Mia's world record!

The Mamma Mia-crew couldn't be more happy when the good news reached them: "Mamma Mia" has beaten the Batman movie "The Dark Knight" - one of the biggest successes within the film industry. The Abba musical has now stolen the first spot on America's movie most rented movie-list. The now past away Heath Ledger who stars as the Joker in Batman, has helped the movie to keep its first spot as the best selling movie. "The Dark Knight" has also been out in the stores for a longer time, so it's rather normal, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Batman sold over 13, 5 millions of copies only the first (!) week, incredible! But last week the crew got to see "Mamma Mia", based on the musical with the same name, beat them on the list.

Christina Applegate diagnosed with breast cancer!

Sad news has reached us and we quote the star's spokesperson: "Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening." The rep added: "Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time." Last month it was announced that the actress, would participate with Meryl Streep, Sally Field, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron in the Sept. 8 telethon Stand Up to Cancer, to be simultaneously broadcast on CBS, NBC and ABC. The star rose to fame as a teenager on "Married with Children." And is currently playing in another sitcom,"Samantha Who". We she will recover quickly and wish her all the best!
