Melrose Place was initially a spin-off from Beverly HIlls 90210 but became very popular on it´s own. Eventually the storylines became more extreme with multiple personalities, characters returning from the dead etc.

The first actor has already been cast, Michael Rady from Swingtown will be playing a young film-maker. But who will play his fiance? We heard a rumour that Mischa Barton is in talks to be a part of the show too, will they be tv's new IT couple? Heather Locklear has been formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs in connection with her September arrest. If convicted, the former Melrose Place star faces penalties ranging from a fine to up to six months in county jail. "Lab tests showed she had no alcohol in her system and no illegal narcotics of any kind," says Senior Deputy District Attorney. She was arrested September 27 in Montecito after an eyewitness - who turned out to be a paparazzo - called 911, saying Locklear was "driving erratically."

Lisa Rinna was all smiles as she enjoyed some pampering at a nail spa in Beverly Hills this afternoon. The old Melrose Place- star definitely looked relaxed as the salon employee massaged her neck. Lisa looks really hot for being a 45-year-old but she shouldn't do so much plastic surgery, she would look even better if she was natural!

Nicky Hilton and her mother Kathy Hilton went on a shopping spree on Melrose Place in West Hollywood. Nicky wore a stylish black and white vest with shades and shoes to match. You can see where the heiress got her style from because this mother and daughter both looked really classy.

Lose that outfit Paris! Benji Madden isn't much of a dresser either! Paris stands out amongst Benjis rocker friends!
As rich as Paris Hilton is she still refuses to hire a stylist and we're wondering why?! Yesterday the heiress was seen out and about in LA wearing a sweatsuit that would look good on a Friday night when you're at home but that wasn't exactly appropriate for walking around town in. Paris also matched the outfit with a blue and yellow hat that wasn't very flattering and a very plastic-looking bag that we assume is from her own line of handbags. Paris went to a spa on Melrose Place before meeting her boyfriend Benji Madden at his store D.C.M.A. Collective to shop a little. We hope she found some new clothes!
