While on her Circus World tour last year Britney Spears wore her iconic blonde look, but now the tour is over Brit is brunette!

Ashlee Simpson loves to play with her hair colour, but she spent most of last year as a redhead for her role in the new Melrose Place. But after she was fired from the show, she went very dark black - wow what a change!

Jessica Alba went with blonde highlights for the summer, but she is back to brunette for the winter season, we think she looks hot with just about any colour under the sun!

We weren't so crazy about Halle Berry and her bob haircut, she looked a bit too mumsy in it, so we were very happy when she chopped it all off to a sexy pixie cut that really shows off her beautiful face!

Greys Anatomy star Katherine Heigl experimented with a darker do too this past year, but she is back to blonde now that she has taken up her role in the hit tv show again.

We got to know Twilight star Kristen Stewart with her long locks as her character in the vampire movie, but then she cut them all off to play rocker Joan Jett over the summer. She seems to prefer the edgier style because she kept it after the movie was done filming!

Mischa Barton went from blonde to brunette and cut some bangs this year and made herself instantly more sophisticated-looking, even though she went off the rails a little bit, very soon after!

Scarlett Johansson debuted some rich brown locks for her stint as the new face of Dolce & Gabbana makeup and fragrance, but she soon went back to her naturally lighter locks!

Singing diva Christina Aguilera has been sporting retro long locks for ages now, so her funky swinging bob is a fun change, we think it makes her look a lot more fun!

Celebs, especially Hollywood actresses are often changing their looks to suit a certain part in a movie or stage role, so we are used to seeing them look totally different from one day to the next! Jessica Alba, Ashlee Simpson and Scarlett Johansson are real chameleons when it comes to their hair and most of them are really lucky, they are so lovely they can pull off any colour or style. There have been some pretty dramatic makeovers lately, which of them do you think is the best?

Ever since Ashlee Simpson's sudden exit from Melrose Place and the beginning of her role on Broadway Musical Chicago was announced, she has had a sudden and dramatic style change! Ashlee is suddenly dressing all in black to match her new black hair and to top it all off she is wearing really pale makeup foundation and dark dramatic eyes. Its all very goth! Wow things are really going well for Swedish-born songstress Agnes Carlsson! Ashlee Simpson Debuts on Broadway!

Quickly bouncing back from the disaster that was Melrose Place for Ashlee Simpson, she debuted on Broadway last night in the musical Chicago in the role of Roxy Hart! Ashlee played the role before on London's West End, so we are sure she did just great! We spotted Ashlee and her husband, Pete Wentz looking all stylish in black formal wear last night outside the theatre after the performance and Ashlee seemed to be beaming! Did you see iconic Melrose Place star Heather Locklear make her reappearance on the new version of the show last week? Well she entered with a big bang and really shook things up for season 2! Heather came onto the first show back in the 90's and made the show more popular than ever before and now it is rumoured she has come back to work her magic on the second version too, but we hear ratings are not the best for Melrose Place, even with Heather back as Amanda, the bitch! Ashlee Simpson's Rise to Fame!

This is Ashlee as we first got to know her as the dancer sister of Jessica Simpson.

It soon became clear that Jessica was not the only Simpson with talent as Ashlee released her debut album "Autobiography in 2004, a major success!

An incident on American show Saturday Night Live where, Ashlee was caught lipsynching threatened to upset her career, but Ashlee didn't let it get her down and went on two record two more albums "I Am Me" and "Bittersweet World".

It was when Ashlee began her own reality TV show "The Ashlee Simpson Show" when fans realised what a fashionista and chameleon she was! Ashlee is now very well known for her ever changing style! Ashlee also famously got a nose job in 2007, as part of that ever-changing look of hers!

In early 2006 rumours started that Ashlee was dating Fall Out Boy band member Pete Wentz. The couple tried to deny their relationship at first, but there was no hiding their love! The couple were married in May 2008 at her parents mansion and her father was the minister!

Very soon after the wedding, Ashlee and Pete announced that they were expecting their first baby after rumours went flying around all over Hollywood!

Little Bronx Mowgli Simipson-Wentz was born on November 20, 2008. A healthy little boy for two of the coolest parents in Hollywood! Of course there has been a lot of speculation over the strange name, but Ashlee and Pete are not telling!

Soon after giving birth it became clear why Ashlee had dropped her baby weight so fast! It was announced she was going to have the starring role in the remake of 90's hit TV show Melrose Place! Ashlee was no stranger to acting as she had appeared on show like 7th Heaven, Malcolm in the Middle and CSI: NY before!

Ashlee played the part of Violet on Melrose Place, a small town girl with a dark past and secret. She turned out to be so dark, that at the end of the 1st season of the show, Melrose was shocking dropped from the show! Rumour is her acting was embarrassingly bad and she acted like a total diva while on set!

Despite rumours of trouble in their marriage and lots of drama and tension, Ashlee and Pete have been very supportive of each other and always seem happy in public! Soon after the Melrose Place news hit, it was announced that Ashlee is heading to Broadway to appear in the musical "Chicago" as Roxy Hart! We wish her best of luck with her future roles!
