Matthew McConaughey is the actor who loves spending time on the beach. After rebooting university of Texas he realized in 1991 that it was the actor he would become. Matthew McConaughey was James Cameron's first choice to the Titanic, but he chose to decline, which he will regret in the years thereafter. He is newly appointed dad, loves to play golf and have an Irish origin, but speaks English with an Australian accent.

Jennifer Lopez wasn't the only celebrity that competed in Nautica Malibu Triathlon held at Zuma Beach, also her co-star from the movie Wedding planer Matthew McConaughey participate in the race. Cindy Crawford hosted the event. Camilla Alves and Marc Anthony was there to support their partners. The sporty girls Felicity Huffman and Anna Kournikova also took part of the triathlon that benefited the Children Hospital in Los Angeles.

The singer-actress was cheered on from the sidelines by husband Marc Anthony, who escorted her to a VIP area with his arm securely around her after she crossed the finish line, there she met Matthew McConaughey.

Matthew McConaughey is training for the 2008 Nautica Malibu Triathlon. With only 2 days to go before the event, the actor takes a long cycle and run. The Triahtlon consists of a half mile swim, 18 miles biking and a four mile run. All benefits and donations raised are for the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
