Dare To Wear: Bodysuits!

Sunday 4:13 PM, 05/12/2010
This is for the brave one! Alexander Wang let his models walk down the runway in sports influenced body suits. We really like the attitude that comes with wearing big shoulders. Keep it clean! This is both classic and modern at the same time. The black shoulder details make the outfit even cooler and a bit more structured. Lanvin knows how to make fashion that we want to wear! This body suit is perfection and with the big leather belt it just looks really cool too. Lady Gaga is always bang on trend, and this body suit makes her stage ouftit into something we actually wouldn't mind having in our wardrobe... that's a first when it comes to this fierce lady! Oh Dita von Teese! This glamorous lady never fails with looking retro chic, and this black body suit really shows off her curves underneath all that lace. Rihanna got red hair and her body suit on, and it looks good. To put a jacket over the body suit makes you feel a bit more dressed, and a lot of accessorize works good with a simple black one. Body suit gone quirky! We love this striped one from Marc Jacobs and thinks it would be greate combined with a nice, big skirt for that supercool retrolook. The swedish blog star Tyra Sjöstedt isn't afraid of showing her body! This body suit is not only tight, it's perfectly shiny too.
In the winter time it's nice to war something close to your body, and that's when a body suit is perfect! They are both fashion forward and sexy, and they just make you look trendy! Here we give you some inspiration from both celebrities and models that rocked the body suit on the runway! Enjoy and remember, this is a trend worth trying even if your not super body confident!

Style Tips: The 1950's are Back!

Sunday 10:18 AM, 21/11/2010
British model Daisy Lowe usually has a punky mix and match look, but she gives herself a flam makeover with a 1950's feel dress and pretty heels. She has kept her rough hair and glam-rock makeup look though. A great combo for her! Women had curves in the 1950's and at Louis Vuitton's Autumn/Winter 2010 runway show, models like Laeticia Casta were chosen to walk the show to show off the sexier, softer 50's sihouettes. Laeticia looks like a real woman and isn't normal runway skinny and it started a trend! Curves are back in fashion! Dita Von Teese has created her personal style around the 1940's and 1950's and she always looks so beautiful with her hair and makeup perfectly done. She also accesorises her looks in a smart way. Add a touch of the 50's to your look with vintage jewelry and sunglasses, a wavey hairdo, red lips and ultra glam nails. Sophia Vergara is smoking hot in the sparkly Louis Vuitton 50's-inspired dress. Even in this lady-lake cut she is super-sexy! A nice change from the obvious short and tight party dress! Always ready to try out a new trend Rachel Bilson looks adorable in this pretty belted print dress, also from the Louis Vuitton Autumn 2010 collection. Eva Mendes was sweet and sexy in this retro-feel swing skirt and ponytail look recently. We love how she has combined the really modern nude trend to keep it fresh and right now. Milla Jovovich was a total knockout in this 50's-inspired gown at Cannes earlier this year. We love how she is wearing a rough-edged almost mo-hawk hairdo with the ultra-glam and feminine multi-textured dress! Swing skirts weren't the only popular silhouette in the 50's. The tube style, belted dress like Maggie Grace is wearing here, were also hot back then and they are just as hot right now. Again its all about modernising, you don't have to look like you have raided your granny's closet to look 1950's glam! We adore the way Gwyneth Paltrow styled up her Louis Vuitton! First of all the cut-out neckline is very sexy and defiinitely brings this look into 2010 and then her hair! Its all chic and neat in the front and then towards the back it goes a little punky! Nicole Kidman makes such a pretty 1950's housewife! She proved that in her movie "The Stepford Wives" and here she has kind hinted back to that look with the fabric and cut of this dress. Pumps and stillettos are also a must for the 50's!
The 1950's will always be remembered as a breakthrough time for fashion. Christian Dior became famous and as a major luxury brand and he his tight waisted dresses with full and shorter skirts became the major trend of the time. For the first time ever, clothes were made around the taste of younger women and after the war there was a big move towards glamour and spending money on looking beautiful. Older women chose more hour glass shapes and younger girls wore big swing skirts and everyone was dressed up smartly all the time, with full makeup, pearls and heels!

The hit TV series "Mad Men" starring Christina Hendricks and January Jones has inspired many fashionistas and designers, especially Louis Vuitton's Marc Jacobs to bring back these lady-like styles with an updated, modern twist of course! Whether you want to go full on like Dita Von Teese or just have a hint of 50's glamour like Eva Mendes and Maggie G. We have the inspiration for you!

The Worst Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2010!

Wednesday 7:01 PM, 03/11/2010
9. Jaime Lee Curtis is all about having fun without inhibitions so we understand her choice to be a cheerful cheer leader, but that doesn't mean that we approve of it! Jaime has such a strong face, a face that would have been amazing together with a more extravagant and adult like costume. This one just feels like sort of a snooze. 8. Marc Jacobs had all the means in the world to design something breathtaking for his Halloween costume, but instead he settled for a tranny devil. Weird doesn't always equal good! 7. Janet Jackson's costume feels very uninspired to us and quite frankly it's just odd. What's with the moustache? Any guesses? 6. Justin Bieber dressed up as a paparazzi, but sans the camera he looks exactly like he usually does on the red carpet! We guess he wanted a costume he could easily ditch once the camera lenses started flashing... But boy, is that boring or what? Everyone else who attended that event kept their costumes on all night long! 5. Carmen Electra was one of the many celebrities who chose to just throw together a number of random slutty pieces they had sitting in the back of the closet before they stepped outside the door. What is she even supposed to be? 4. Ashanti's costume would perhaps have been sort of cute on someone who didn't usually dress in leopard or leather... We're sorry to say it but her costume looks like something taken directly from her stage wardrobe! 3. Oh Holly Madison, when will you learn? It's okay to be a pink lover up until the day you die, but the princess dreams should have been scrapped ages ago! This costume isn't cute nor hot, it's just sad... 2. Haven't we seen Kendra Wilkinson in this casino girl outfit before? On a Playboy party or something? Either way it lacks all the components that makes a Halloween costume special. 1. Tara Reid as a barbie girl... Do we even need to comment on this one? A picture says more than a thousand words.
A bad sense of style is one thing, but how hard can it really be to pick out a good costume? Pretty hard if were you ask these ten celebrities! Check out the worst costumes of Halloween 2010 below. Viewer discretion is advised!
