Marc Jacobs is a high fashion brand designed and created by Marc Jacobs himself. He started the clothing line with Robert Duffy which in the beginning formed Jacobs Duffy Designs Inc. But after Marc's first owned designed collection for women, the name was changed to Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs was awarded 1987 for being the youngest designer within the fashion industry's highest tribute, The Council of Fashion Designers of America. Marc Jacobs moved onto to his first own full collection of menswear in 1994.

One of the most talked about topics from the Louis Vuitton Autumn-Winter collection at Paris Fashion Week last week is not the beautiful new fashion and handbag collection! You might have noticed that there were a few famous faces on the runway. Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs decided to put some non-runway models in between the usual skinny girls on his catwalk show! Curvier swimsuit models like Bar Refaeli and retired supermodel Elle Macpherson walked beside Victorias Secret models like Adriana Lima and Laeticia Casta, who have just recently had babies and are even more curvy than usual. Model Coco Rocha who has also just famously gone from size zero to a more normal size was also walking and we think the curvier ladies look stunning! Sometimes they even looked much more beautiful standing next to the rail-thin runway models in the show! Yay Louis Vuitton!

Actress Christina Ricci made our best dressed list in this frilly Marc Jacobs gown when she wore it to a red carpet charity event in December with her red lip, cute purse and dramatic bang hairdo. Then 2 weeks ago drama queen Lady Gaga wore the same dress in her special way ! She teamed it with black pumps, her funky sunglasses and a military cap. Could they be anymore different?!
