Marc Jacobs is a high fashion brand designed and created by Marc Jacobs himself. He started the clothing line with Robert Duffy which in the beginning formed Jacobs Duffy Designs Inc. But after Marc's first owned designed collection for women, the name was changed to Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs was awarded 1987 for being the youngest designer within the fashion industry's highest tribute, The Council of Fashion Designers of America. Marc Jacobs moved onto to his first own full collection of menswear in 1994.

The CFDA Fashion Awards were held at the New York Public Library in NYC yesterday and naturally every American fashion designer showed up for the occasion! Marc Jacobs arrived with Victoria Beckham who was dressed in a ruffled black and white dress and high-heeled black sandals. Michael Kors had Hilary Duff by his side while Zac Posen, Donna Karan and Tom Ford arrived alone. The hottest red carpet look belonged, not surprisingly, to Ashley Olsen dressed in black pants and a tuxedo jacket!

How does she do it? Dita von Teese always manages to look perfect whether she's performing or just shopping! Dita was photographed leaving the Marc Jacobs store in New York yesterday dressed in a pretty red coat and matching red lipstick and looked very much like a classic Hollywood movie star! The burlesque star seemed in good spirits and doesn't seem too worried about the fact that her ex-boyfriend Marilyn Mansons's new girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood is starting to look like a Dita-copy!

The Internet website gawker.com has now revealed what they believe to be Lindsay Lohans real Facebook page. The star is said to be using the pseudonym Lindsay Ronson (using her friend Samantha Ronsons last name) which we don?t think is all that discreet. If you go into her profile you can see that Lindsay is friends with Marc Jacobs, Lauren Conrad and model Jessica Stam. LiLo has also written a rather cryptic status message, "Don't believe the hype. I'm taking my sobriety seriously, and day by day. It was 430 am", and we're not really sure what the "430" part means! So what do you think, is this really Lohan's Facebook page or has someone just gone to a lot of trouble to make a fake one?!
