Maggie Gyllenhaal is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Used to be best friends with Kirsten Dunst but they drifted apart after Kirsten dumped Maggies brother Jake. Studied English at Columbia University. Gyllenhaal's first film roles were directed by her father: Waterland.(Has a daughter, Ramona, with fellow actor Peter Sarsgaard. Is a descendant of the Swedish noble Gyllenhaal family.

Maggie Gyllenhaal styled a long denim skirt with black clogs! Kate Beckinsale looks hobo-chic in clogs & a gray knitted cardigan! The two big trends of summer 2010 has definitely been clogs & denim jackets, and as usual all the celebrity fashionistas have been quick to embrace the trends! Rachel Bilson managed to combine both trends in one über cute outfit that she was seen wearing the other week. We adore her look and her Chanel bag is just the cherry on top! 8.Singer Katie Melua looks a bit like a strange super hero character with the metal detail and that really ugly curly updo hairdo. No Katie, you are not on the red carpet often, so use your chance to be stylish! 7. Amber Le Bon was obviously not in the mood to dress up to a Samsung launch this week. She looks like she got up straight off the couch in her legwarmers and tights and threw on a jacket. Disappointing! She usually makes great fashion choices! 6.Ok we are all used to Maggie Gyllenhaal unique taste in clothes by now, but that doesn't mean we have to like them! This draped blue dress look terrible on her! 5. Ashley Olsen looks like a cross between a bag lady and a Palestinian man in this outfit at the Yves Saint Laurent perfume party. What was she thinking? Or was it just a bad hair day? 4. Christina Aguilera in this strange mix of Lady Gaga and Madonna at the Late Show was not even close to original and we don't this overdone sparkly style suits her at all! We prefer when she does classic looks with a vintage edge. What is she trying prove, we just don't get it! 3. Cate Blanchett and her space suit were not a hit at the Tony Awards for us. She looks too pale in this metallic colour and we don't think it even fits her properly, which is the number rule! 2. British celebrity Michelle Mone tries to rock the digital print trend but gets it very wrong. There is way too much going on here, our eyes are getting sore just looking at it! 1.This week's worst look has to go to Lady Gaga! Who shows up to a bal game in their underwear? Ok so she has a Yankees shirt on - but still! No!
This week some of our most famous celebrities totally lost their sense of what looks good! With Jennifer Garner and Ashley Olsen being some of the most guilty! These ladies are supposed to know that the world is watching and they are usually very proud of their fashionista status. We are not sure what happened and we hope they fix it soon!

Naomi Watts looks glamorous in her hairdo. Kate Bosworth à la Hollywood. A genuine look for a superstar. Alicja Bachelda does the right thing to wear a simple bun with this very glamorous dress. A sure thing when it comes to hairdoes is deffinately buns of all kinds. This hairstyle really accentuate Mrs Lopez features. Florence Welch gets it! High topical this summer is red. Red hair, red clothes, red shoes, red handbags etcetera. Wendy Glenn looks nothinng but futuristic in her sharp fringe and cool eyeshadow. This entire combination, hair, clothes, makeup is simply a winning concept. Whitney Able looks really sofisticated and beautiful. Melissa George goes for wet look. Highly appreciated. Audrey Tatou couldn´t be more feminine in spite of her short cut hair. Simply gorgeous! Shu Qi looks fantastic with her dark hair let down. Maggie Gyllenhaal at a premiere looking classic. Rosie Marcel in a casual everyday looking hairstyle.
Now we have reached the point, where dividing hairstyles into male or female hair, no longer is on the cards. Everything is allowed when it comes to hairstyles. Short hair have never been more feminime. On the runway, we have seen examples that look more or less frightening. Designers emxperiment with different colours and hairdoes. The traditional plait, sofisticated bun and the classic hollywood curls are all examples of hihgly topical hairstyles.

The annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit a the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City took place last night and as usual all of fashion and Hollywood's biggest names were there dressed up in all kinds of beautiful and glamorous couture creations! Designers like Stella McCartney brought along famous friends Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and Maggie Gyllenhaal and they rubbed shoulders with hot couples like Sienna Miller and Jude Law and Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady.
