Helena Bonham Carter is trying to bring goth to the Oscars. And it's not working. At all. Nicole Kidman's L'Wren Scott dress was pretty - we just think she should wear something more age appropriate. Olivia Munn's dress looked like Christmas decoration. In a very bad way. Catherine Zeta Jones was beautiful, as always. We just think she could use some color, not to blend in to the dress completely. Helen Hunt made a cool fashion choice - she wore a gown from H&M! Super cute, but it shouldn't be that wrinkly in the red carpet...
If we were ever invited to the Oscars, we'd make sure to take some good time to think about what to wear and how to look. But as always at these big events, some of the stars just don't seem to get that, and they simply show up wearing gowns we believe should be illegal.

L'wren Scott and Mick Jagger are total rock stars! Sweet couple- Michael J Fox and Tracy Pollan Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito= cutest couple ever! Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are totally in love! Clare Grant and Seth Green, you guys look great! Katie Holmes really owns it next to Tom Cruise!
It's really cute when we see celebs in love. What can we say? We love love!
We noticed that some of our favorite female celebs have chosen shorter partners, which we think is super awesome. They all look so happy together! What do you think? Would you ever date a shorter guy?!

Melissa Leo wore a floral crochet/cut out short-sleeved Mark Bouwer gown...we don't love it really...but its not so horrible either... Everyone says Jennifer Lawrence was a knockout in this red Calvin Klein, we think she could've done more Amy Adams in blue sequinned L'Wren Scott. We love the dress but the jewelry was all wrong Cate Blanchett went all high fashion in this complicated textured dress from Givenchy's latest collection Jennifer Hudson was dramatic in this statement burnt orange Versace Gwyneth Paltrow, we loved! This metallic Calvin Klein is a perfect fit for her Natalie Portman was adorable mommy-to-be in this berry colored Rodarte dress Scarlett Johansson Dolce & Gabbana dress, in a similar color to Natalie's kind of kicked ass, but Scarlett's hair ruined it for her! We hated this vintage Charles James on Marisa Tomei. Its probably a lovely dress, just not on her! Sharon Stone was totally overdone. She looked like the evil queen from snow white in this goth-like dress with the huge bouffant hairdo Break out young star Hailee Steinfeld again was perfect for her age in this soft pink Marchesa princess dress. So pretty! We loved Michelle Williams in this Chanel gown, but we are bored with her in this color and style Florence Welch in a yellow tiered gown, we were not impressed either Mandy Moore went for this romantic look in Monique Lhullier, but if it wasn't for that bright lipstick, the color would have washed her out Russell Brand brought his mom and she looked hot in lace! Helen Bonham Carter wore this kind of fugly gown by costume designer Collen Atwood Celine Dion looked a little out-dated in a white long sleeve Armani Prive gown Hugh Jackman is so hot, what is he doing with frumpy and strange-looking Deborra-Lee Furness? It must be love! Hilary Swank nailed it on the red carpet as usual in this sparkly Gucci gown with the feather details Wow Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz on the red carpet together! She is one hot mamma just a month after giving birth! Of all the fab Christian Dior gowns out there, why did Nicole Kidman choose this one? We hate the hair too! Helen Mirren perfect as usual in Vivienne Westwood Yay Halle Berry is back! This Marchesa gown was hot hot hot on her! Camila Alves went for simple and but still high drama with the full skirt. We love this look for her Christian Bale's girlfriend Sandra Blazic is the perfect date as she looked elegant without upstaging him with her dress Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang, we don't know why, but we are not excited, although there is nothing wrong and she looks good! Reese Witherspoon having a sixties moment in black Armani Prive Anne Hathaway in classic Valentino red. Gorgeous!
Maybe we were too excited about the Oscars and all the build up to the event, but we were kind of disappointed with the red carpet last night. We weren't totally amazed and blown away as usual! There was a great mixture of nudes, metallics, bright colors and strong black gowns, but nothing cutting edge or special. The girls who really stood out for us were, Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and of course Mila Kunis, who had to be the night's best dressed...do you agree? Who did you love and hate? Kid Rock and Pammy were a steady (or not) item a few years back. We are desperatly trying to see what she saw in him, it couldn't have been the mustache right? Drew Barrymore was together with one of the biggest hunks ever, Fabrizio Moretti from The Strokes, for many years. We kind of loved this couple and was so sad when they broke up. Why did they even do it, just imagine the kids they would have got! Pamela Anderson with another rock star boyfriend, Tommy Lee. This relationship was stormy as hell and accordning to some sources Tommy even abused Pam a few times. A cool rocker would never have done that! Shame on you Tommy! Well this is a better choice for Kate! We love the stylishness of her and her now long term boyfriend Jamie Hince. And guess what, he is a rocker too! Jamie is in the band The Kills but is also involved with a lot of other cool projects, we like! Here we see an example of a real player turn steady boyfriend! Yes, it definately took him a few years but now Mick Jagger is a very devoted lover to supermodel turned designer L'Wren Scott. We think that this is a proof of that you get better with age! Well, at least on the inside.
Or girlfreind and their rock stars... because there really is a few women who never seam to want to date anything but a man with a music ear (and a lovely "I don't care about how I look- I'm a rock star darling"- attitude). Just look at Pamela Anderson or Kate Moss, they are rock stars girlfriends forever! Then there is the more stable kind of star, but they are usually a bit older, something that doesn't seam to stop them from having gorgeus model girlfriends though! The annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit a the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City took place last night and as usual all of fashion and Hollywood's biggest names were there dressed up in all kinds of beautiful and glamorous couture creations! Designers like Stella McCartney brought along famous friends Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and Maggie Gyllenhaal and they rubbed shoulders with hot couples like Sienna Miller and Jude Law and Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady.
