As everybody knows by now, Lindsay Lohan turned herself in yesterday and had the first court hearing for her jewelry theft case. Of course Lindsay pleaded not guilty and so bail was set for $20 000 until the next court hearing for the case. The judge did not leave it there though! udge Keith Schwartz gave Lindsay a tough talking to saying: "You're no different than anyone else ... please don't push your luck."
He explained to Lindsay that she is still on probation from her DUI case and that she is now being accused of a fellony, which could mean the maximum jail sentence! He also added her DUI probation to her set of court charges, making her full bail fee $40 000.
If Lilo is lucky, she will not have to go to trial, her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told the court that she was in talks with the jewelry store who laid the charges, to negotiate an out of court settlement. Always a mess with this girl. (TMZ)
