She was born in a hospital adjacent to the prison where her mother served a ten-year sentences for serious drug offenses. Only when Leighton Meester was ten years old, she could be reunited with her mother. They moved when, along with her brothers, to New York where Leighton Meester began to model. She is currently working on her debut album said coming out in autumn 2009.

Model Chanel Iman totally inspired us with this look earlier this week. Its such a fun, flattering and clever blend of rich textures and patterns. Its definitely our vote for favourite and unforgettable!

Here's something you don't see every day! Gossip Girl fans will know that Blair Waldorf and Dan Humphrey don't get along very well but Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester apparently do! The two spent all day together yesterday on set and it seems there are no hard feelings between takes! Good to see!
