The New York Metropolitan Opera House is one of the grandest buildings in the city and every year when Opera season starts, there is a grand opening party! This year Hollywood stars like Mischa Barton and Edward Norton were invited to attend this red carpet event along with fashion designers like Zac Posen and Diane von Furstenberg. We were quite shocked to see a rock chick like Mischa at the opera! Who knew she had a love for the classics, or maybe it was just an excuse for the fashionista to dress up? Either way she looked lovely!

Stars of the movie like french actress Marion Cotillard and Christian Bale were all there, but the person having the most fun on the red carpet is always Johnny himself! Because Johnny lives so far away from the all the glitz and glam in the South of France, he says it is always a larger than life experience to be on the red carpet! You have just got to love this man!

We're all for people who go their own way and start their own trends (think Agyness Deyn) but we're still not sure what to say about Leelee Sobieski's outfit! The actress left the nightclub Bardot wearing long black shorts, black boots and a black coat that would suit Maryiln Manson better. To top it off Leelee had her lips painted red and bedhead! Better luck next time Leelee!
