When countries start naming holidays after you, you really know you've made it! Last Sunday, Lady Gaga was honored in a special ceremony when Taiwan officials decided to make the 3th of June the official Lady Gaga day! She was serenaded by a local children's choir, handed the key to the city of Taichung and also received a portrait of herself painted by a local artist. Later that day, Lady Gaga returned the favor by playing a free concert in the city in front of a audience of roughly 40,000 people!
On a press conference the next day, she said that she feels Taiwan really knows her very intimately now. Aw! Here's hoping the official Lady Gaga day will become a global thing!
