Lady Gaga wants everyone to know that she is sick and tired of having her hit single "Born This Way" be compared to Madonna's "Express Yourself"! In a recent interview, she even broke down in tears while talking about it! She furiously denied all allegations that she ripped Madonna off and said that she simply wouldn't be stupid enough to put out a copied song nor do a homage without clearly stating it. She then continued explaining how the only similarity between the two songs are the chord progression, which she said has been used in disco music for the last 50 years.
She rounded off her defense by saying, "I feel like honestly that God sent me those lyrics and that melody. When you feel a message to give to the world and people are shooting arrows at it... there's no way for something that pure to be wrong."
So there you have it people - Gaga did NOT copy her song from Madonna!
