There's no denying that 2010 has been one hell of a Gaga year! The eccentric singer has won award after award, made headlines like none other and now it's also clear that she recorded this years best selling album! Coming out top amongst stars like Taylor Swift who sold 3.5 million copies of her album Speak Now, Lady Antebellum who sold 3.6 million copies with her album Need You Now, Justin Bieber who sold 5.6 million copies of his album My Worlds and this years runner up, Eminem whose album Recovery sold 5.7 million copies. Lady Gaga managed to sell a whopping 5.8 million albums! Congratulations Gaga, at the age of 24 that is quite an achievement!
She gushed on Twitter earlier today, "The Fame Monster was named the best-selling album of 2010! I'm so excited for the future, believe + work hard, you will achieve your dreams."
Will she be able to outdo herself in 2011? Being the little monsters that we are, we're super eager to see!
