Lady Gaga: "Beyoncé helped me through bullying"

Destiny's Child!

Do you think great artists grow up being loved and adored by everyone around them? Nuh uh. Think again. It's never easy growing up when you're different, and since very few artists, if any, are as different as Lady Gaga, you can only imagine what hell she must of had growing up!

In a recent interview with MTV, Lady Gaga reveals that she was a victim of bullying her entire childhood. She recalls her most painful experience being dumped in a trash can by a group of thugs, and explains how she'd always come home crying.

The only thing that helped her get through it was the thought of some day becoming a star. She explains, "I've never told Beyonce this, but I remember laying on my grandmother's couch crying and a Destiny's Child video came on, and I remember watching Beyonce and thinking, 'She's a star, I want that - I want to be on MTV,' and now I'm in music videos with Beyonce."

After rain comes sunshine! Such a feel-good story, don't you think?
