Fans will know that Lady Gaga has a new single "Telephone" coming out on March 3rd! She sang a bit of the new song at the Brit Awards last night, but the original also features R&B diva Beyonce. Lady Gaga sang at the Brit Awards last night in a very moving and dramatic performance. But it was actually all a last minute idea. She had planned to do a huge, fun medley of all her dance tunes, but on Monday afternoon she told the show organisers she wanted to change everything because she was too upset by her friend Alexander McQueen's suicide last week. So Lady Gaga spent hours changing her performance and we hear some of the other artists had to give up their rehearsal times. Diva behaviour? Hopefully everyone understood her sadness. Yesterday we told you the tragic news of British fashion designer Alexander McQueen's death. More details have been released since yesterday and it has been announced that the designer hung himself in his London home just a week after the death of his beloved mother. Friends say Alexander was very fragile and so close to him mom, he just could not deal with losing her. So sad!

Alexander Mcqueen started his fashion career at 16 when he became a taylor's apprentice in London. He then went on to graduate from London's famous school of design, Central St,. Martins, where his student collection was bought by Tatler Magazine style director Isabella Blow, who helped him launch his career and the two became best friends until Isabella's suicide in 2007.

Alexander Mcqueen won many awards for his amazing fashion design's in his career, he has been named British designer of the year 4 times and has designed for famous fashionistas like, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker and Janet Jackson. Lately he has also designed some of Lady Gaga's crazy outfits! Many of his famous friends have sent out their messages of sadness and love for him.
