The Cannes Film Festival 2011 has come to an end and Kirsten Dunst & Brad Pitt came out top! Brad Pitt's movie "The Tree of Life", where he plays a strict and demanding father raising two young brothers, took home the ultimate prize, the Palme d'Or for Best Film and Kirsten Dunst was honored with the Best Actress award for her role in "Melancholia", directed by the controversial danish director Lars Von Trier who caused quite some drama earlier in the festival when he claimed to have understood Hitler at a press conference.
They were the only two Americans to be awarded with a prize at the festival, so a big congratulations to them both is well in order!

We think Kirsten not only deserves the award for best actress, in our eyes she's also the festival's big winner in the fashion department! How dreamy isn't this Chanel dress?
