Kesha is the hottest new rocker chick around lately, but that doesn't mean she is going to let her new fame and money go to her head! Kesha shared in a recent interview that she comes from a poor background. She says growing up poor means that she will never take herself too seriously, she says she is still the same girl who had to sell her clothes to be able to buy herself dinner!

So when Kesha received her pay-check from her music recently, she didn't splash out at all! She bought herself a second-hand Honda car that she needed. Kesha can't stand pretentious people who waste their money on rubbish, so she would never do that. But she would like to treat herself to some new music instruments. She was likely paid just to wear them as
advertisement for whoever made them, so yeah, I
doubt she payed a cent for them. =]

Love the tights and the top. The jackest I'm not
so crazy about though .. And what's with the
feather in her hair ? I've never liked that
accessory ^^, Kesha seems like a pretty earth

I know a lot of people who went to high school
with her, and the county where she lived
(Williamson County, TN) was just recently listed
as one of the top 25 wealthiest suburbs in the
country. So the question is: is this true, or
