After lots of gossip about it, the show's creators/exec producers have announced officially that they are making a spinoff that will serve as a prequel to the Gossip Girl Show. The new show will be about the wild teen years of Lily van der Woodsen,Kelly Rutherford's character. It will be set in Los Angeles in the 1980s."We can introduce characters in the past and see them again in the present and vice versa," "Each show can inform and enrich the other". Sounds interesting, can't wait to see the first episode in May! Here is an interview with Kelly about her character Lily in Gossip Girl:
