Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford gave birth to a baby girl late on Monday night and baby and mommy are healthy! Kelly has named the new baby Helena. Unfortunately this birth is not completely drama free. Kelly's soon to be ex German entrepreneur Daniel Giersch, the baby's father, is claiming that no one told him about the birth and is trying to create trouble for Kelly in their divorce settlement. The agreement was that Kelly would contact him when the baby was born. Her lawyers say she did, but Daniel is telling all the media that he had no idea! (Source:People)

A very pregnant Kelly Rutherford strolled the streets in West Hollywood yesterday after a lunch date with her gal pal Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross. Gossip Girl's Kelly is expecting baby number 2 to join her sometime with in the next few days and is glowing with excitement! The only that could get in the way of Kelly's happiness is her messy divorce case! It has been months and she has still not come to a custody agreement with her ex-husband over their first little boy Hermes!

The event was held to invite former bridesmaids to donate their old dresses to raise funds for the non-profit organization Planet Hope. TV's Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford, who is four months pregnant with her second child, was spotted leaving the Santa Monica Superior Court the other day looking a little tired. Rutherford and her estranged husband are battling over custody rights to their son Hermes and even though the judge sided with her yesterday and is letting her take Hermes to New York until March, the battle isn't over yet!

Gossip Girl's Kelly Rutherford is in an ugly divorce battle with second husband Daniel Giersch. First she announced that she was afraid her husband would kidnap their son Hermes and flee the country. Then Mr Giersch filed for sole custody of Hermes, saying Kelly is too focused on her work to be a good mother. Now Kelly says she is afraid of her ex and has called the police on him twice for screaming at her and intimidating her in front of their little boy...how awful!

Wonder if Kelly will play the younger version of herself in the new spin-off?

After lots of gossip about it, the show's creators/exec producers have announced officially that they are making a spinoff that will serve as a prequel to the Gossip Girl Show. The new show will be about the wild teen years of Lily van der Woodsen,Kelly Rutherford's character. It will be set in Los Angeles in the 1980s."We can introduce characters in the past and see them again in the present and vice versa," "Each show can inform and enrich the other".
