Katy Perry Signs On For American Idol!

It looks like the new upcoming season of American Idol is going to an exciting one, especially in terms on who is going to be sitting at the judges table! Last week we were told that former Spice Girls member Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, is making an one-off appearance on the show and now we hear hot new singer Katy Perry has also signed on to be a guest judge! We still don't know if either of them will be taking Paula Abdul's old seat permanently on the show, but so far the two lady stars will only commit to one show. An American singer/songwriter called Jill Sobule has got it in for Katy Perry! She is going around calling Katy all kinds of dirty words because she thinks Katy stole her song idea! Jill released a song back in 1995 called, get this: "I kissed a girl"! Jill says her and Katy were signed by the same record executive so she doesn't think this is a coincidence and she is now very upset that Katy's "stolen song title" is such a huge success! Unfortunately for Jill you can't copyright a song title. Her song has completely different music and lyrics to Katy's. Take a listen and tell us what you think. (Source: TheSun)
