It seems Katie Holmes is set to follow in the footsteps of likes such as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Nicole Scherzinger. And no, she's not launching her own singing career or something along those lines. Just like they have before her, she'll soon be appearing in a guest role for the hit series How I Met Your Mother!
Apparently, Katie is slated to play a character titled "the slutty pumpkin" which was introduced in the very first season of the series. This character caught Josh Radnor's character Ted Mosby's attention, and he waited for her year after year at the very same Halloween party that he first met her at but she never showed again. The viewers were never got to see her face either, until now that is.
We don't know about you guys, but we're huge HIMYM fans and when we found out about Katie's appearance we were super excited. Cause really, can't we all agree on that Katie belongs on TV and not on the big screen?
